Janeen Registered Dental Hygienist

Warm, friendly and energetic describes Janeen. She loves helping people have a beautiful, healthy smile. Back at age 12 she knew she wanted to work in the dental field. She started as a dental assistant in 2004. After completing the dental hygiene program at SRJC, she has enjoyed her profession as a dental hygienist for over a decade. Janeen was born and raised in Santa Rosa. In her free time Janeen loves snowboarding, running, cycling, yoga, swimming and music. In addition, she and her husband enjoy cooking or eating out at all the wonderful local restaurants.

Joann Registered Dental Hygienist

Joann knew at the tender age of 17 that she enjoyed the dental field. After being an assistant for 7 years, she was in the first dental hygiene graduating class at our local Santa Rosa Junior College. She loves connecting with her patients and finding strategies to improve their oral health. Her education didn't stop there; she is currently working on a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. In her free time, Joann loves cooking, hiking, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is also a big sports fan along with her husband and son. Go Niners!

Rochelle Registered Dental Assistant

For the last nearly 2 decades Rochelle, a registered dental assistant, has been caring for people in our practice; She loves dentistry and has many years of experience to personalize your care. Rochelle enjoys getting to know our patients and providing exceptional care for all of their dental needs. She was born in St. Helena, grew up in Placerville, and settled in Santa Rosa in 1996. In her free time, Rochelle loves reading and movies. She adores her husband, Andy, and their cat whom they call Mr. Fluffy Pants.

Laura Dental Assistant

Laura is predictable and consistent; you can always count on her having a smile. After many years of being a patient at Phillips Family Dental Care, Laura attended our local Santa Rosa Junior College Dental Assisting program and graduated in 2019. In her free time, Laura loves spending time with friends, her big family and her poodle named Oso. She also loves salsa dancing, hiking, swimming and cooking.

Julia Dental Assistant

Our moto is 'Our family does family dentistry' so when Dr. Phillips' oldest daughter, Julia, graduated from high school and then started taking her general education classes at the Santa Rosa Junior College, she also started helping in the office as a dental assistant. Some of you may remember Dr. Phillips' wife and Business Manager, Sherry, being pregnant and later bringing baby Julia into the office to work. In fact, we even have some patients that remember Dr. Phillips as a young boy. Julia has a bachelors degree in Psychology from UC Davis and is x-ray certified; she is currently continuing her education to pursue a dental hygiene degree and helps in the office when needed. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her newly wedded husband, Eli, and take naps with their cat, Midnight.

Nancy Treatment Coordinator

Nancy comes to us with over 25 years of customer service experience. She loves helping our patients and her friendly smile will be the first thing to greet you when you walk through our doors. Nancy's enthusiasm is inspiring. Nancy loves Sonoma County's fantastic weather and mountain views. When not in the office, she cherishes her time with her two children, her husband, her dog and her cat. Nancy is excited to meet you!

Roxanne Treatment Coordinator

You'll love Roxanne's passion for dentistry which started back in her high school years. During her many years of experience, she has acquired an expansive knowledge in the field of dentistry and takes pleasure in being able to serve patients in a variety of ways. Raised in Mt. Shasta, Roxanne now has two grown children and three grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, camping, fishing and most anything outdoors.

Sherry Phillips Business Manager

Our business manager, Sherry, has over 30 years of experience in dentistry and management. While attending California State University, Sacramento, she met Justin Phillips. They were married in 1992, and three weeks after the wedding, they moved to Omaha, Nebraska, for Justin to attend Creighton University School of Dentistry. Sherry finished her Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business Management at the University of Nebraska in Omaha.
Sherry joined Phillips Family Dental Care in 1996, and can be seen working in many capacities in the office. Sherry and Dr. Phillips have two daughters, 3 chickens and 3 cats.
